Our pipe organ was built in 1906 by Norman & Beard Ltd of Norwich. It has 12 speaking stops, two manuals (keyboards), pedals, a balanced swell pedal and tracker action. In 2015 the 8' Dulciana rank was replaced with a 2' Fifteenth, which has made the instrument more versatile. The full specification is:

THE ORGANIST
James Henderson was born on Guernsey and was taught to play the organ by Roger Surcombe at the Town Church. He studied Music & Theology at the University College of Ripon & York St. John, where he received organ tuition from, among others, Philip Moore at York Minster.
After graduating, James worked for two years as a full-time organist for the Lutheran Church of Norway in the four parishes of Tolga.
James returned to Guernsey in 1992 to take up the post of Choirmaster at the Town Church and to teach Music and Religious Studies studies at The Ladies' College, where he is now a Deputy Principal. James has been organist of St. Pierre du Bois since 2013.
